Andrea Degner

Andrea is a fully licensed mental health practitioner and licensed clinical social worker. She has worked in Human Services with the youth for 5 years and adults for 12 years. She has experience with both the juvenile and criminal court systems; as well as, 10 years working specifically with clients who struggle with substance abuse. Andrea specializes in working with clients ages 13 and up, who may be struggling with depression, anxiety and mood disorders. She welcomes all genders, sexual orientations and ethnicities. Andrea graduated from University of Nebraska Omaha with a Master’s in Social Work. She really enjoys working with people and getting to witness the progress clients can make for the positive. Andrea learns everyday from those people around her, including her clients.

Rebecka Brott

Rebecka Brott is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP), and Provisional Certified Master Social Worker (PCMSW). She earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. While earning her degree, Rebecka completed one of her two internships with Compassionate Minds Therapy. Rebecka has years of experience in health and human services and child welfare settings working with children, families, and systems.

Rebecka is open to meeting with clients ages 13 and up, experiencing anxiety, depression, and mood concerns. She particularly enjoys supporting individuals who want to focus on stress management and self-acceptance. She encourages the use of expressive arts and mindfulness in therapy.

Lisa Dunlavy

Lisa Dunlavy is a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) and a Provisional Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PLCSW). She received her Bachelors of Science in Health Science at Bellevue University, Bachelors of Arts in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and she received her Master’s of Social Work at Walden University. Lisa has worked in the medical, mental health, and addictions fields for seven years. She has interned and worked in a variety of settings to include: at-risk
adolescent transitional homes and outpatient therapy serving dually diagnosed adults.
Her counseling experience ranges from treating adults who struggle with addictions and mental health challenges. She also has experience working with the Veteran population. One of her specialty areas is substance abuse.

Lisa provides substance abuse evaluations and recommendations. Lisa is a registered service provider with the state of Nebraska. She offers a person-centered approach to her clients to assist in meeting their individual goals and needs. Lisa is a Veteran of the United States Air Force (USAF). She honorably served eight years before dedicating her life’s work to helping those struggling with mental health challenges. Her unique perspective as a Veteran allows her to not only be an advocate, but a provider to those who have served. Her ultimate goal is to assist in making positive change, self-growth, and to learn how to live in the moment.

Jillian Olson

As a mental health and substance abuse counselor, I am committed to helping individuals learn how to change their attitudes and beliefs, while learning strategies to address the root cause of their difficulties. I am passionate about creating resources for individuals who are struggling and hold them accountable for the change they desire.

I have provided therapy in a variety of settings. My experience consists of treatment for co-occurring disorders, both adolescent and adult inpatient, and outpatient settings. I worked with adolescents struggling with eating disorders. Completed my internship at Omaha Correctional Center where I conducted groups in the areas of anger management and sex offender treatment. Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in all areas of my practice. As an EMDR trained therapist, I specialize in helping individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and cravings. I am ASI and CASI certified for substances use evaluations.

Kristen Rosenberg

Kristen Rosenberg is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has been practicing in the social work and mental health field for over 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at Milligan College and went on to get her Master’s of Social Work at East Tennessee State University. Kristen has come alongside a variety of individuals in her years of experience - couples struggling with various issues such as infidelity, growing apart or poor communication, individuals and families dealing with grief, terminal illness and end of life care.

During her time in grad school, Kristen worked with veterans at a local facility. She has continued to enjoy working with veterans, as well as expanding to serving active duty military and their families. Kristen’s approach is diverse and conforms to meet an individual’s needs. She draws from different techniques, some based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Strengths Based Therapy, to find what is the best fit for an individual’s given situation, goals and personality.
