I strongly believe that inside every person are the strengths and lived experiences that make us unique and equipped to handle challenges. Sometimes we just need a little direction to see it. While I mainly focus on trauma and attachment-focused therapies, I utilize an eclectic approach that caters to each client. Counseling isn't one-size-fits-all.
Before coming to the field of Mental Health Counseling, I worked for several years in digital art and computer programming. I’m a South-Asian immigrant, a native New Yorker, a father, and a husband. I’ve lived through lots of changes and challenges, but I’ve also learned how resilient humans can be. I try to bring my own unique experiences and background to the therapeutic setting.
I have a particular passion for working with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, men’s issues, parenting concerns, and cultural and familial issues. I’ve worked extensively with kids who have endured severe trauma of all kinds, and I am seeing clients 7 and up and am available for in-person or telehealth counseling.
